Outdoor Cabling
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is used for the installation of underground conduit and cable for telecommunications, electric power, oil and gas pipelines, and other utilities. HDD is a trenchless installation method that can minimize the impacts to the environment and existing infrastructure. HDD involves the use of a drill rig to install a conduit or pipeline in a horizontal direction along a predetermined bore path. The method can be used to cross obstacles such as roads, railways, rivers, and hillsides.
